The  New Year is barely 3 weeks away we thought we it was about time to review some of the interior design trends for 2019.

We have sustainability, sensory textures and pastels hitting the top spots; although the pastel trends are running over from 2018 they have matured into dusty, dirty and chalky tones and sustainable furniture gets a slick and elegant rejuvenation.

So we can expect to see muted mustard, apricot oranges, dirty peaches and of course warming  tones of Pantones 2019 colour of the year Living Coral. No forgetting the gorgeous Matt black that  is also  popping up for an added touch of excitement and drama.

Interiors are also moving away from rose gold towards soft yellow gold accents for an up-to-date, sophisticate look, including fresh golden highlights adds glamour when mixed with natural wood.

The shift towards sustainable and eco-friendly design continues however with a drive towards the more individual, unique option. Sustainable furniture no longer holds fast to the conventional re-used, bohemian visual, but is replaced by tasteful, trendy pieces.

That’s not all, it looks as though textures, striking wallpapers and bold surface treatments are set to make a noise in 2019, so scale it up, be brave and really bringing your home to life.
